Who We Are
About Access Line Cutting
Our Story
Access Line Cutting & Mulching Inc. (ALC) was established in 2025 to serve the Western Canadian resource sector with professional, safety-focused line cutting and land clearing services.
ALC's roots trace back to Initial Exploration Services Inc. (IES), founded in 1991. Over more than three decades, IES built a reputation for delivering complex, remote exploration projects across Canada and internationally — including operations in South America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Following the sale of IES in 2025, ALC was established to continue that legacy of excellence in Western Canada, bringing the same experienced leadership, field-proven systems, and commitment to safe operations to a focused regional practice.
Today, ALC provides line cutting, mulching, and remote access services to clients in mineral exploration, oil and gas, forestry, and wildfire mitigation — operating across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Experienced. Safe. Committed.
With over 35 years of combined leadership experience, ALC brings deep technical knowledge and field-tested judgment to every project.
Safety is not a checkbox — it is embedded in how we plan, mobilize, and execute. Our crews operate under structured HSE programs with daily field-level risk assessments and documented safety inspections.
We are committed to our clients' schedules, budgets, and environmental obligations. Remote terrain and challenging conditions are where we perform best.
